Nowadays, person identification is a very important and widely discussed topic in our society due to the rapid evolving rate of technology. While some people consider it to be an essential in contributing to national security, others may feel like it is a breach of privacy. It can surely be mentioned that person identification can be applied in several areas other than security and video surveillance.

A few years ago, real time and accurate person identification based on face recognition in videos would be very difficult to achieve due to limitations from hardware resources. However, as time passed by facial recognition has become increasingly significant. In our Final Year Porject, we aim to develop a solutions to build a person identification software to track persons in a video with real-time speed. The project is completed with Pycharm, Python.
